![]() ![]() ![]() The girls are kept as Royal princesses, I believe, for political use of the royal family but I'm not 100% sure about this. The strongest boy, mana wise, gets sent back to their home country with a schaffe to become king and all other boys are turned into feystone to use. She comes to a palace at the Royal Academy and has a bunch of kids. This might contain more spoilers past the first time it is talked about so ill put the tag on it Basically, fruit of Adalzeza are children of the princess sent from Lanzeror(the other county that I'm too lazy to look up atm so I'm going with Lanz after this one). You can think of Aub Ehrenfest as Eddard Stark from A Game of Thrones, and Ferdinand is Jon Snow. Quinta, later Ferdinand, is the boy who lived.Įdit: Note that Quinta was baptized as Ferdinand, and hence he is known as the illegitimate child of Aub Ehrenfest, not his adopted son. The knight commander of the Sovereignty Knights, Raobrute, once served as a guard knight in the Adalzeza palace, and hence he knew the boy Quinta, a fruit of Adalzeza who managed to get saved from being turned into a feystone. Fortunately, his adoptive older brother Sylvester was kind to him, and he shielded him from Veronica. Of course, Ferdinand is eternally grateful to his adoptive father, but had to suffer Veronica for the rest of his childhood. Quinta was baptized as Ferdinand of Ehrenfest, and Aub Ehrenfest at that time deceived everyone that Ferdinand is his child with a mistress. As he is technically a prince, he would be a source of problems, so he was sent off to a lesser duchy to be adopted there as a lord's child where he could pose little threat to the royalty. This gruesome tradition lasted for hundreds of years across many generations.Ī boy named Quinta, born from a princess of Lanzanave was meant to be killed off to be turned into a feystone, but through divine intervention, he was spared. In order to prevent a battle for succession in Lanzanave, and to make sure only the strongest child ever becomes the king of Lanzanave, the princess sent will have to bear multiple children, with the strongest child being granted a schtappe, while the rest of the children get killed off and turned into high quality feystones. The first princess sent was named Adalzeza, and the zent of that time created a palace for her, and later on the palace was known as the Adalzeza Palace. The king of Lanzanave then negotiated with the zent of Jurgenschmidt to have Lanzanave send a princess once per generation for the zent of Jurgenschmidt to bear children with. Problem with that is that only within Jurgenschmidt can anyone ever get a schtappe. Even if Lanzanave itself has its own country foundation, only those with a schtappe can dye the foundation and fill it with mana. However, there is a problem with the line of succession for Lanzanave. ![]() His kingdom became known as Lanzanave, the only other country in the world to have magic users. Failing to become the ruler of the country, he decided to leave Jurgenschmidt along with his entire household and create a kingdom of his own. Once upon a time, a zent candidate, even if he had acquired for himself a copy of Glurisheit, failed to become zent himself.
